Elizabeth Gilbert on Creative Living, Befriending Fear & Eating Up Your Shit Sandwich

Elizabeth Gilbert

OMG.

I love Elizabeth Gilbert SO MUCH.

Words cannot express how much I love her!

… Come to think of it, I’m sure words actually could express my love for her, but rather, I’m not all that confident in my ability to articulate the amount of respect and love and admiration and appreciation I have for the embodiment of who she is and how she so wonderfully and adeptly expresses herself.

She’s just so full of AWESOME.

As luck would have it, I randomly stumbled upon this absolute gem of an interview between Elizabeth Gilbert and Marie Forleo on YouTube. I don’t frequent YouTube all that often, but I found myself heading to the site on a whim (probably in seek of a dose of inspiration/motivation/procrastination), and lo-and-behold, this video was the very first on the list that was recommended for me. And I’m so glad it was!

Running at nearly 48 minutes, it’s on the longer side, but it’s SO worth it. If you self-identify as a creative person — especially as someone who desires to make a living from your creativity — then this is absolutely, without a doubt, a MUST-WATCH interview.

I could relate with it so much that it literally had me teary-eyed at some points, and laughing out loud at others. (Shit sandwiches, anyone? Yes, please!)

I thought about the idea of listing out all the wonderful tidbits and nuggets of wisdom and advice peppered throughout… but you know what? The entire thing is gold. So just watch it.
