Thanks for sharing, Christa!

I have yet to go for my driving test, as I'm currently traveling and not able to take it But during my travels I've been using my learner's permit a lot and have even driven long distance between cities, and I've gotten a lot more experience driving on freeways and highways. Yay!

It certainly is an empowering feeling to finally feel confident in driving. :)

Loved reading your article! I can relate - I didn't learn to drive until I was over 30. It was a time of major growth for me - moving beyond my fears, letting go of resistance and going with the flow of who I am! Very empowering! I feel so much joy for you! You are on the *road* to freedom. Enjoy the journey!!

Yeah! I suppose another way of looking at it is to imagine you're putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Instead of focusing on how one little piece fits in one small area of the puzzle, zoom out your focus and see how it fits in the big picture.

I actually recently learned how to drive a few months ago. Ironically, a problem I had was that I did have to constantly monitor the speedometer in the beginning. If I didn't, sometimes I would go up to more than 80 before I realized I was past the speed limit. Now that I have been driving for a while, I don't have to monitor it as often.
